It made the announcement on its social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter), as well as via text message to prospective corps members on Thursday, May 19, adding that a new date would be announced in due time.

NYSC had earlier postponed the orientation course from March 30 to April 30, owing to logistics, only to further reveal it was due to lack of funds. The management of NYSC, on Tuesday, May 17, said the Federal Government had approved and released funds to enable the scheme accommodate the 2016 Batch ‘A’ stream 2 orientation course.
