Donald Trump squandered no time reacting to Meryl Streep's comments at Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards where the actress gave a solemn discourse about the President-elect.

Trump called Streep "one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood" in a tweet Monday morning calling her a "Hillary flunky who lost big."

Trump told the NY Times he had not seen the show or Streep's comments. He likewise included that he was "not surprised" for going under assault from "liberal movie people" particularly a "Hillary Lover" like Streep.

He kept on protecting his conduct from a meeting with a disabled journalist in 2015 in which he demands he didn't taunt anybody, a minute Streep had said was a case of Trump's "instinct to humiliate."

"I was never mocking anyone. I was calling into question a reporter who had gotten nervous because he had changed his story," he told the paper in a phone interview after the Globes. "People keep saying I intended to mock the reporter’s disability, as if Meryl Streep and others could read my mind, and I did no such thing."

His tweets Monday morning resounded his contemplations late Sunday night.

What's more, with the inauguration only 11 days away, the President-elect said he's not stressed in regards to having superstars attend the momentous day.

"We are going to have an unbelievable, perhaps record-setting turnout for the inauguration, and there will be plenty of movie and entertainment stars," Trump said. "All the dress shops are sold out in Washington. It's hard to find a great dress for this inauguration.

Ahead of President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, some liberal stars were determined to use the 74th annual Golden Globes to have the last word 12 days before Trump is sworn into office.

Lecrae to Release New Album in 'Early 2017'

Instagram/Lecrae
After a strong 2016, Lecrae is heading into 2017 with new music, and a focus as solid as ever.

The Reach Records emcee recently shared that in early 2017, fans should expect to hear a new album.

“It will be out early 2017 (first quarter). There’s no name yet. I’m still processing. It’s definitely thematic. There’s a reoccurring theme of struggle, embracing the struggle, finding grace in the middle of it, and hopefulness through all of it,” he said.

See More On Lecrae:
“The song articulates my pain, my struggle, my humanity, me being depressed over scrutiny, loss of life, being misunderstood in so many ways. It drove me to depression and to doubt faith as well, but the resolve is having to climb out of that hole and how faithful God was during that time,” said Lecrae.

He also admitted that he has a second book in him. Lecrae isn’t sure of the topic yet, but perhaps he would cover “daddy issues.”

KELLY LEAVES FOX: Why the primetime anchor is leaving for new role at NBC News - Kurtz

DBliss Media
Megyn Kelly (Victoria Will/AP)

Megyn Kelly has decided to join NBC News, and Fox News says her last day on the air will be Friday.

The network announced today that Kelly will be giving up her prime-time role at Fox for a multi-year deal that includes several roles at NBC. She will launch a daytime program as well as a Sunday evening news magazine show, and be part of the network’s coverage of major political and breaking-news events.

Rupert Murdoch, executive chairman of 21st Century Fox, said in a statement: “We thank Megyn Kelly for her 12 years of contributions to FOX News. We hope she enjoys tremendous success in her career and wish her and her family all the best.”

In a Facebook posting, Kelly said: “While I will greatly miss my colleagues at Fox, I am delighted to be joining the NBC News family and taking on a new challenge. I remain deeply grateful to Fox News, to Rupert, Lachlan and James Murdoch, and especially to all of the FNC viewers, who have taught me so much about what really matters.”

Fox News fought hard to keep Kelly, who became a breakout star and whose 9 p.m. show was the second-highest rated in cable news, behind “The O’Reilly Factor.” Donald Trump’s attacks on Kelly during the campaign helped turn her into an international celebrity and she was featured on the cover of the New York Times Magazine, Vanity Fair and other publications. She also just published a best-selling memoir, “Settle for More.”

Kelly’s contract at Fox was not due to expire for another six months.

Kelly stood to make an eight-figure salary wherever she went. As she talked about her decision, it became clear that a top priority was a schedule that would allow her to spend more time with her three young children, who went to bed before she returned home from her nighttime program.

Fox News now faces the challenge of replacing Kelly in prime time, as well as at such major events as debates and political conventions, where she has generally appeared alongside Bret Baier and Chris Wallace.

Kelly was an increasingly unhappy lawyer in 2004 when she parlayed a part-time gig at a Washington station into a reporting job at Fox. She quickly rose through the ranks, co-anchoring “America’s Newsroom” with Bill Hemmer and then hosting a 1 p.m. show before the move to prime time.

In agreeing to join NBC, Kelly said, “I have decided to end my time at FNC, incredibly enriched for the experiences I've had.”

NBC Universal Chairman Andrew Lack said in a statement, “Megyn is an exceptional journalist and news anchor, who has had an extraordinary career” Lack said. “She’s demonstrated tremendous skill and poise, and we’re lucky to have her.”

The move gives Kelly access to the potentially larger audience of a major broadcast network. But launching a daytime program can be difficult, even for famous journalists.

Katie Couric, the former “Today” co-host and CBS anchor, lasted two years in an ABC-backed daytime show whose first executive producer was Jeff Zucker, now CNN’s president. CNN anchor Anderson Cooper also lasted two seasons in daytime. The largely female audience tends to favor entertainment and lighter fare over serious news topics. NBC did not announce a time for Kelly’s new show.

Trump’s attacks on Kelly after the first presidential debate, when she asked him about his demeaning comments toward some women, brought her a torrent of online abuse and, she disclosed in her book, her family was forced to use security guards. The two buried the hatchet in an interview that aired on the Fox broadcast network.

Janet Jackson, 50, gives birth to a boy, Eissa Al Mana

Singer Janet Jackson has at the age of 50 given birth to her first child, a baby boy, her publicist has confirmed.

A statement said the musician and her Qatari businessman husband, Wissam Al Mana, were "thrilled" to welcome the infant, Eissa Al Mana.

"Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably," the publicist added.

She posted a video on Twitter at the time in which she told fans that she was postponing the tour because "there's been a sudden change".

"I thought it was important that you be the first to know," she said, adding: "Please, if you can try and understand that it's important that I do this now."

She said she wanted to focus on planning a family with her husband, whom she wed in 2012.

Jackson had earlier been spotted in London shopping for baby essentials.

Fox News' star Megyn Kelly headed to NBC News

NEW YORK (AP) — Megyn Kelly, the Fox News star whose 12-year stint has been marked by upheavals at her network and personal attacks on the campaign trail, is headed to NBC News.

The move was confirmed by Kelly's publicist, Leslee Dart.

Kelly's departure deprives Fox News of its second-most-watched host, behind only Bill O'Reilly.

Her contract with the network was due to run out this summer.

In the past two years, Kelly has weathered personal attacks from Donald Trump during his presidential campaign, and last summer she played a behind-the-scenes role in the ouster of Fox News founder Roger Ailes after multiple accusations of sexual harassment.

She is expected to take on a multi-faceted role at NBC.

The move was first reported by The New York Times.

Six Christmas Carols for the Ages

DBliss Media

Frosty the Snowman, sleigh rides and jingle bells ring in the holiday season for many Christmas radio listeners. But if you're looking to bask in the sounds of Christmastime, give these historical and biblically based classics a thoughtful listen.

Here are just six Christ-glorifying hymns that have stood the test of time:

"Joy to the World" (1719)

As of the late 20th century, "Joy to the World" was the most-published Christmas hymn in North America. It's based on the 98th Psalm and was written by the "Father of English Hymnody", Isaac Watts.

"Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" (1739)

Methodist movement leader Charles Wesley penned this popular Christmas carol, one of 6,000 he eventually wrote, as a part of the 1739 collection Hymns and Sacred Poems.

"O Come, All Ye Faithful" (1751)

"O Come, All Ye Faithful", Latin for "Adeste Fideles", is attributed to John Francis Wade, an English hymnist who was exiled to France with fellow English Catholics in 1745.

"The First Noel" (1823)

This classical English carol is likely from the 18th century; however, its current form was first published in Carols Ancient and Modern in 1823. "Noel" is based on the Latin word, natalis, which means birthday.

"Silent Night" (1818)

First written in German, "Silent Night" is, too many, the carol to sing in celebration of our Savior's birth. It was first performed on Christmas Eve in 1818 at St. Nicholas Parish Church in Salzburg, Austria.

"O Holy Night" (1847)

Based on a French poem, "O Holy Night" was composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847. The poem about Christ's birth was titled "Minuit, chretiens", which means "Midnight, Christians".

Skillet Closes 2016 Ablaze, Tops Year-End Charts

Billboard names Skillet Top Christian Streaming Songs Artist for second year in a row.

DBliss Media

2016 has most definitely been a great year for Skillet's hit track "Feel Invincible." The track recently went to #1 on both the Active (Mediabase) and Mainstream (BDS) Rock charts, and has made history by spending 19 weeks at the top of the Christian Rock chart, the most weeks ever since the chart's inception on Billboard.

RELATED:

The video for "Feel Invincible" has been viewed over 21 million times on YouTube and streamed over 16 million times on Spotify. "Feel Invincible" has also been a hit in the sports world, having been used by the NFL's Monday Night Football, Major League Baseball (MLB), National Hockey League (NHL), WWE during their Battleground Pay-Per-View, TBS' E-League and Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Sports Awards. The No. 1 song was also chosen by the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for use throughout the entire 2016 football season.

Additionally, the debut Christian radio single from UNLEASHED "Stars" hit #1 at Christian Hot AC and continues to climb the National Christian Audience, and AC Monitored and Indicator charts heading into 2017.

Loudwire named UNLEASHED as one of their Top 20 Albums of 2016 saying "Skillet has come into their own in recent years, making a successful crossover from the Christian Rock charts to the Mainstream Rock charts. That continues with their UNLEASHED album, an eclectic effort led by the anthemic single 'Feel Invincible.' There is plenty of potential to go deep here, with the arena rocker 'Back From the Dead,' the ballad 'Watching For Comets' and the album closer 'The Resistance' feeling radio ready and instantly addictive."

"Feel Invincible" was also selected as one of the Top 20 Rock Songs of 2016 by the outlet, saying "This one will get you up and moving! Skillet's chart-topper 'Feel Invincible' quite simply is undeniable. This uplifting rock anthem has that kick in the pants to get you going and it feels like the ultimate sports anthem. That's probably why it's been co-opted for many a sports promo over the last year. Raise your fists and rock along."

"The UNLEASHED Tour" Garners Skillet their Most Successful Mainstream Tour of their Career as U.S. dates sold out in Minneapolis, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Cleveland and more. In the fall of 2016 Skillet also wrapped their most successful European headline run to date with the trek including sell out and packed crowds in cities including London, Paris, Vienna, Budapest and more.

Grammy-nominated Worship Artist Kari Jobe Announces Her New Studio Album – "The Garden" Set To Release February 3, 2017

DBliss Media

GRAMMY-nominated and renowned worship leader Kari Jobe will release her third studio album titled The Garden on February 3, 2017. This album follows the highly acclaimed live project Majestic that produced the hit single “Forever” and “I Am Not Alone.” The Garden was written and recorded during a season of pain and loss for Jobe’s family.

“This album was written out of experiencing God’s closeness, goodness and mercy even through a season of great loss for my family,” shares Kari Jobe about the inspiration behind The Garden. “He can redeem any situation we are going through. I was reminded of His desire for intimate, real relationship with us like He had originally designed back in Garden of Eden. If we look up and around us, we will realize that God has been tending to the details of our hearts and souls throughout our entire lives. He is much like a gardener, knowing what to prune and what seeds to sow that will grow in due season and be life-giving to us. The Garden is all about seeing the beauty and kindness of God in the midst of the difficulties. He’s not distant or disconnected from our pain; in fact, He’s been right here the whole time, turning ashes into beauty.”

Working with producer Jeremy Edwardson (Jesus Culture, Hillsong UNITED, Jon Foreman), she also co-wrote with her husband and worship leader Cody Carnes, Brooke Fraser Ligertwood, Martin Smith, Jason Ingram and many other worship leader friends. Check out two songs that have been released with lovely lyric videos from the forthcoming album: “The Cause of Christ” and “Heal Our Land.”

“I believe with all of my heart that we have been put on this earth for such a time as this—to fulfill God’s heart for mankind and bring salvation and hope to the world through the message of the cross of Jesus Christ,” she explains. “We are the church, and I pray that we would long for God’s presence to fall afresh on us and fill the atmosphere with His glory and wonder in greater measure. Let’s not stay in places of disappointment or offense when things don’t look like what we prayed for. Let’s lift our voices in faith. Let’s trust that He is good. Let’s stand united, singing as the bride Jesus is longing to return for so that His Kingdom would come and His will would be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

Supporting this album, Jobe will be headlining her The Garden Tour with special guests Bryan & Katie Torwalt, Leeland and Jonathan David & Melissa Helser beginning February 23, 2017 through April 9. See the tour dates and respective opening acts for each date below.

Rob Schneider CRUSHES Democrats and their bleating about Russia

DBliss Media
Rob Schneider

Hollywood said something right? Shocking. And sadly it IS still shocking when anyone in Hollywood says something remotely sane or not out of the Leftist Playbook for Crybabies and Whiners.

Rob Schneider is part of the Adam Sandler group, and as you may or may not know, Sandler and many others in that group tend to lean a bit to the right. Schneider made some snarky yet spot-on comments about the Democrats and their Russian mania around the election:

It’s like the Democrats crying about how the FBI hurt Hillary’s chances; actually since it was Hillary’s fault the FBI had a voice or a presence in this election at all, it’s still her fault.
Just like the emails – no one made any of those people write what was IN those emails.
What Democrats need to admit is they’re just angry they got caught … oh yeah, and that they LOST.
