Christian Mingle The Movie

Theatrical Release: October 10, 2014:
                                                                              Synopsis:

Limited Theatrical Release – Gwyneth Hayden is a 30-something marketing executive with a top-notch career, killer wardrobe, dream apartment and great friends. She thinks the only thing missing is a man. In a moment of inspired desperation, she fills out a profile on the dating website ChristianMingle.com hoping to find a nice guy. However, Gwyneth’s Christianity is a little rusty and her attempts at impressing her dream guy end in disaster when he calls her out on her “faux faith.” In an honest realization, she sees her superficial life for what it really is, and she’s driven to create a personal relationship with God. In the end, He delivers on the true desires of her heart:                                                                                       “life-changing” love.

Dove Review:

There are many dating services that one can sign up for online these days. This film follows Gwyneth after she enters her information on a popular website called ChristianMingle.com. Unfortunately, her understanding of the Christian faith is not all it should be. Believing in God is one thing but being a Christan and having a relationship with God is an entirely different experience.
To get the man of her dreams, she ties to pretend to be something she is not. As sometimes happens with many deceptions, the truth eventually comes out. When this occurs, Gwyneth undertakes a spiritual journey to find what out what her faith really is and what it should be. The discoveries she makes are amazing and she finds her true calling which brings a wonderful surprise her way.
This is a sweet romantic comedy that is faith friendly. Just because someone tells you that they are a Christian it does not always mean they are. This film truly entertains while asking the question; Are you really a Christan or just pretending? We are proud to award this movie our Dove “Faith Friendly” Seal for all ages.
