It is a sad day in Israel as four individuals have been killed in Jerusalem by a driver who smashed a lorry into a group of soldiers, in what police say was a terrorist attack.
Three ladies and one man, all in their twenties, were killed and no less than 13 more were injured, doctors say.
The driver had been shot dead by soldiers from the group - police.
In the course of recent months there have been many assaults on Israelis by Palestinians - utilizing blades, weapons and now and again vehicles.
A transport driver who saw Sunday's assault told Israeli radio that the lorry driver had furrowed into the gathering before reversing over victims.
Israel's police boss Roni Alsheich said the assailant was from East Jerusalem and claimed an Israeli driving permit.
Police representative Micky Rosenfeld said security had been increased all through the city accordingly.
The assault occurred on the famous Armon Hanatziv promenade overlooking the walled Old City of Jerusalem.
Images from the scene demonstrated a lorry with bullet holes riddled across the windscreen.
