Lauren Daigle, Lecrae and for KING & COUNTRY Among Top Honorees at 46th Annual Dove Awards


The 46th Annual GMA Dove Awards took place last night at Lipscomb's Allen Arena in Nashville, Tenn. The sold out event was hosted by Sadie Robertson and Erica Campbell and will be broadcast on TBN Sunday, October 18 at 9:00 p.m. EST.

Notable performances of the evening included veterans Casting Crowns, Crowder, MercyMe, Big Daddy Weave and Kirk Franklin alongside newcomers Lauren Daigle, I Am They and NF. Some of the evening's presenters included Jason Grabb, Bill Gaither, Natalie Grant, Michael W. Smith and Newsboys' Duncan Phillips.

 
 
The theme of this year's event was Better Together, placing the emphasis on the way the body of Christ is able to support and and strengthen each other in order to further the gospel. The diverse talent roster for the evening further supported that goal. New Artist of the Year award winner Lauren Daigle shared on the topic "We as a body, we as Christians have a legacy to lead about love. We want to allow it to permeate and leave God's legacy behind."
